Jennifer Kirkpatrick recommended that I contact you regarding assisting our department at RIT/NTID in a discussion on the book White Fragility, Why It’s So Hard For White People to Talk About Racism. Our department, which is broken into teams is currently reading the book and discussing chapters in our team meetings. To culminate our focus on the book for the semester, we will be hosting a World Cafe style workshop for all teams to come together and share perspectives, and contribute collectively to the discussion. To assist and ensure productive discussion, we would very much like to have a facilitator who is knowledgeable in the book and how to guide people through a discussion.
We are hosting this event on Friday, January 10th, 9am-2:00 pm. Would you be willing and interested in working with us?
My contact information is: dsmdis@rit.edu, I can also be reached by phone, 585-475-3972.

Thank you! I look forward to hearing from you.
Deborah
